CPS Energy’s 9th Annual GrillsGiving: A Celebration of Meat + Music

GrillsGiving, fired up by Bridgewater Consulting Group, has a new home this year! All roads lead south, and we’ve moved to Hangar 9 at Brooks and are excited to share this new location with you. Brooks’ vibrant community and history is the perfect space to celebrate with the community on the south side of San Antonio.   

Since 2014, GrillsGiving has been serving up tasty barbeque for CPS Energy employees, our customers, and the community. Last year, the community stepped up and helped GrillsGiving raise $350,000 to help support the Residential Energy Assistance Partnership (REAP). This family-friendly event welcomes everyone to meet up on the south side of San Antonio for a great time. Guests will enjoy a friendly festival-like atmosphere, including a competitive barbeque cook-off among 50+ barbeque teams, live music, activities for the entire family and free parking! We look forward to welcoming you and your family to GrillsGiving.

Net proceeds from GrillsGiving will benefit REAP.

Admission Tickets

Purchase your tickets online today at last year’s price through Friday, November 1!
Three ticket options are available to purchase online here.

  • $15 General admission tickets include: Two BBQ tastings
  • $30 All Inclusive tickets include: 2 drinks with four BBQ tastings
  • $150 Platinum Wristband includes:
    • Access to main event and VIP reception with premium drinks
    • Unlimited BBQ tastings from BBQ Teams while supplies last
    • Access to private restrooms

Children under 12 are free and receive entry into event
Active and retired military receive entry into event (with valid ID)
Please note: Pre-sale tickets will end Friday, November 1st, at midnight. Tickets will be available at the door for an increased price, cash/card accepted

Learn More About REAP

REAP is a 501(c)(3) designated nonprofit established in 2002 through a partnership between CPS Energy, Bexar County and the City of San Antonio. REAP provides energy bill assistance twice a year to those in need. CPS Energy contributes up to $1 million annually to REAP and works throughout the year to raise additional funds for the program.
