Help Us Stop Copper Thieves

Copper theft costs us and our customers almost $1 million a year. It also puts our neighbors and families at risk and can leave neighborhoods and businesses without power. Help us catch and stop thieves by doing the following:

  • Call 911, if you see anyone that is not wearing a CPS Energy uniform working on transformers, utility poles or substations
  • Call CPS Energy security at (210) 353-4000 to report any suspicious activities or damaged equipment
