Mission Ridge Community
COMMITMENT TO RELIABLE SERVICE
As San Antonio’s electric and natural gas utility, we are committed to providing customers with reliable and affordable power. As such, our contractor, Zachry, will soon begin a service reliability project to address the frequent outages experienced by residents in the Mission Ridge neighborhood.
SCOPE OF PROJECT
This work will consist of replacing 8,400 feet of underground cable and associated pad mount transformers.
Crews will work from 7:30am – 4pm, Monday through Friday in order to complete this work in a timely manner. For the safety of our contractors, interruptions in electric service will be necessary. We will notify customers by phone one business day prior to work being performed. The call will provide the start time and duration of the outage.
As our repairs move through the neighborhood, crews will replace damaged sod and fences affected by the construction as work is completed. Through the duration of the project, you may notice colored flags on your property. These are used to notify our contractor of any non-customer owned underground infrastructure.
ESTIMATED TIMELINE
Although work will pause during the holidays, this work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2017.
