On June 19, 2020, in accordance with Bexar County Executive Order NW-10, CPS Energy implemented a COVID-19 Health & Safety Policy to reduce the potential for the spread of COVID-19 in our workplace. Face covering is required. Our modified customer service center hours are 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. We offer SaveNow energy savings programs and rebates to help our residential and business customers save energy and money, as well as reduce the overall demand for energy in our community.  These programs are the foundation of our Save for Tomorrow Energy Plan (STEP).  STEP aims at reducing the growth in our community’s demand for electricity by 771 megawatts (MW) by 2020 – the output of a large power plant. Initiatives such as residential and commercial rebates for energy-efficient products, energy efficiency audits and weatherization programs – as well as the products we offer customers – focus on saving the energy that would have to be produced by building another power plant.
