Google Nest Registration: What to Expect
Thank you for your participation in the WiFi Thermostat Rewards program with CPS Energy!
Please make sure you can answer “Yes” the following before proceeding with registration:
1. Is your thermostat a CPS Energy qualified thermostat (model and brand)? (Check here)
2. Have you successfully installed your thermostat and connected it to your WiFi?
3. Have you connected your thermostat to the Nest app?
After you enroll, here is what to expect:
Pending Approval:
It will take up to 10 business days for your registration to be verified. Once it is verified, you will receive a welcome email from Nest.
Receiving Your Rebate:
Your rebate will come in the form of a bill credit and will appear on your CPS Energy bill within one to two billing cycles.
Adding an Additional Device?
Nest will auto-detect any additional new devices customer installs after the initial registration. If you installed additional new thermostats at a later date, please email [email protected] for registration verification and additional applicable rebates.
Please Note: When you click to register your thermostat, you will be directed to a website outside of cpsenergy.com to complete your enrollment.
Additional Note: During these energy saving events, your thermostat may be set to a slight pre-cooling adjustment prior to the event start time so you stay comfortable during the duration of the event. You can opt-out of the event at any time by adjusting your thermostat back to desired settings.
