Multifamily Program

As part of our Sustainable Tomorrow Energy Plan (STEP), our Multifamily Program is designed to support the installation of energy efficiency upgrades in multifamily apartment complexes to help reduce energy costs for our customers who reside in apartments.

What are the benefits?

Complex Owner Benefits:

  • Low to no-cost energy efficiency upgrades
  • Reduced maintenance costs
  • Increased tenant satisfaction

Tenant Benefits:

  • Reduced energy use
  • Increased comfort
  • Lower energy bills

How do I qualify?

To qualify for this program, complexes must:

  • Have 5 units or more,
  • Be individually metered,
  • Must meet one (1) of the income eligibility requirements below:
    • Complex is owned and operated by a 501(c)3 (non-profit), or
    • Be able to demonstrate that 25% of units are occupied by tenants who receive some type of low-income assistance.
