System Maintenance: Starting on Saturday, April 20th from 7 PM to Sunday, April 21st at 4 AM, we will be performing maintenance on our systems. During this time, Manage My Account, all other web portals, customer alert notifications, and our automated phone system will be unavailable. EZ Pay credit card payment processing and visibility to bills in Manage My Account will be unavailable until Sunday, April 20th at 5 AM. We will still be able to process emergency gas and electric requests by calling 210-353-HELP (4357) or 1-800-870-1006.
Vivint Registration: What to Expect
Thank you for your participation in the WiFi Thermostat Rewards program with CPS Energy!
Please make sure you can answer “Yes” the following before proceeding with registration:
1. Is your thermostat a CPS Energy qualified thermostat (model and brand)? (Check here)
2. Have you successfully installed your thermostat and connected it to your WiFi?
3. Have you connected your thermostat to the Vivint app?
After you enroll, here is what to expect:
Pending Approval:
It will take up to 10 business days for your registration to be verified. Once it is verified, you will receive a welcome email from Vivint.
Receiving Your Rebate:
Your rebate will come in the form of a bill credit and will appear on your CPS Energy bill within one to two billing cycles.
Please note: During these energy saving events, your thermostat may be set to a slight pre-cooling adjustment prior to the event start time so you stay comfortable during the duration of the event. You can opt-out of the event at any time by adjusting your thermostat back to desired settings.
