CPS Energy’s Affordability Discount Program (ADP) helps low-income customers with a monthly discount on electricity and gas services.
We're always ready to help you, and we have a variety of plans to assist you with your bill. For example, if you’re a residential customer, you may qualify for a discount on your monthly service charge.
How do I qualify?
To qualify for this discount, your household income must be at or below 150% of the federal poverty guidelines. Additionally, you must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Senior Citizens:
- Be 60 years old or older.
- People with Disabilities:
- Have a documented disability.
- Medical Necessities:
- Use life-sustaining medical equipment, such as oxygen concentrators or ventilators.
- Families with Children:
- Have pre-school-aged children.
- Have school-aged children (18 years or younger).
- Energy Burdened Households:
- Spend more than 10% of annual household income on energy expenses.

Do I have to reapply?
Enrollment period is one year and residents must recertify their eligibility every year.
