Facilitator

Mary Repole

Mary Repole is the Queen of Aha! for Epiphany Research & Marketing, a consulting firm she founded in 2002. The research team’s work is strongly influenced by ethnography and techniques developed by cultural anthropologists that help people discover and articulate feelings, impressions, and associations they have but often have trouble expressing. This provides a “way in” to the invisible layers of the mind, allowing the team to gain deep insights into customers’ real-life experiences with brands. Mary says when she unearths that essential truth, it’s an “Aha!” moment—or an epiphany around which the emotional center of a brand can be built, and new brand experiences, product ideas, and services can be discovered. Mary has collaborated with CPS Energy and its agency partners since 2014 on various research projects with residential and commercial customers, including brand awareness and perception, market segmentation, demand management, energy conservation, and the 2021 rate increase.
