Eligible CPS Energy residential customers aged 60 or older, whose name is on the utility bill and meet income criteria, can have late payment charges waived.

How do I qualify?

  • Individual 60 years of age or older
  • Be the person whose name is on the utility bill (customer of record)
  • Income at or below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines

*For Families/Households with More than 8 persons, Add $560 for each additional person.

Do I have to reapply?

Enrollment period is one year and residents must recertify their eligibility every year.

What are the benefits?

Late payment charges will be waived.
