CPS Energy’s offices, customer service centers, and call centers will be closed on Friday, April 26, 2024, in observance of the Battle of Flowers Parade. Ingram Road Substation and Transmission Project
The Ingram Rd. Substation and Transmission Project involves the construction of a new electric substation and transmission line at 1495 Ingram Rd., San Antonio, TX 78251.
A substation is a local power hub or distribution point for electricity. The new substation site and easements for the transmission line were made available to CPS Energy in support of a new project to service a large customer in the area. Additionally, the new substation is designed to support future growth in the area utilizing CPS Energy’s standard overhead electric system.
